Yellowstone Really Has Yellow Stones!

We saw bison, elk, deer, squirrels, chipmunks, birds, and a bear!

We saw geysers, waterfalls, rivers, mountains (duh), trees, mud volcanoes, lakes, rain, sunshine, and a billion stars.

We went there via Idaho Falls, but came home via Jackson.

We roasted marshmallows, drank hot chocolate, gathered garbage for licorice, and didn't shower the entire time.

We met amazing camp-neighbors, watched our children bond, endured rainstorms and sick children.

We froze at night, got sunburned during the day, made roaring campfires, and watched a meteor shower.

It took a lot of effort, but I think it's safe to say that our camping trip with our buddies is one we'll repeat. The memories will last forever.

Pictures and more explanations to come later! For now, I must unpack, clean up, do laundry, put away camping gear, find #3's soccer coach, order some more glasses for #1 (she lost them), find out who the kids' teachers are (school starts next Tuesday!), and that's just the beginning...

Glad you didn't get eaten by bears!
