Week One Results...

ME: Lost 2.8 pounds! YAY!

DH: Lost 9.2 pounds! What the heck? Yep, he totally lost almost 10 pounds. But he claims that he gained 5 pounds just before we joined, and so those 5 pounds came off easily. Plus he was wearing a suit. Last night he was wearing shorts and a T-shirt.

I just tell myself that he's a man and he cheats by changing what he wore. Then I feel good. :)

Good for you!! And yeah, I think your DH cheated...:P Doesn't he know he's not supposed to lose more weight than you?

3 pounds is REALLY good for the first week. Good job!

Brandon was probably spitting to lose water weight! I think thats what he did in HS to get his weight down to compete in the lower weight division for wrestling.

That's what I think! :)

Nah, he was actually doing really well. He tried hard to make sure he ate all of his points --even if there were some left over at the end of the day. That's when he'd break out the ice-cream and nachos! But he still managed to lose it. I'll let him tell you why...Hubby! Tell her why!

It was just a combination of wearing lighter clothes AND the five pounds I had put on the few weeks before... I used the online tools to track all my points. I don't expect to keep up this pace that long, but I might lose another 5 pounds this week. 225 has been my barrier I've had a hard time breaking.

Way to go Cheryl! It's frustrating how guys can lose weight easier than us. It helps to have a weight-loss buddy though. My mom and I try to keep each other in check. Keep it up!!
Are you going to meetings? That's what always helps me. I *have* to be accountable there.

Yep! The meetings are really good motivators. When I did WW last time, I loved going in each week to weigh in and then listen to other people's struggles and successes. It really, really helped.

It's funny because this time (since we're out of Provo), people keep talking about how they "had that second glass of wine and it was 10 points!" and stuff like that. Or they talk about making sure we know Beer isn't a water equivilent liquid. Our leader even asked Brandon if when he exercised he knew not to drink beer. It was totally weird! So funny!
