Fabulous Fun For Friday! Whoo.

I have so many things on my mind. I want to discuss subjects such as women's worth, modesty, motherhood, marriage, and my new intense desire for another washer and dryer. I will probably and eventually type up some great posts discussing such issues, but for today, you get some randomness to kick off your weekend just right!
-------------------
School starts on the 22nd. I cannot WAIT! But before that, it means everything starts this next week. We have doctor appointments, back-to-school orientations, soccer games, one last over-nighter, and probably a lot of laundry. We've been pretty lazy these last few weeks, and I realized that it was probably needed with what's ahead.
-----------------------------
Observing other people's trials is sobering and makes me realize how lucky I am. I told Brandon this morning how grateful I am for his consistent kindness to me, even when I'm not necessarily kind to him. I don't want to take it for granted any longer that I have him in my life, nor that he is so good to (and for!) me. I love that man so much! We belong together.
------------------------------
So, I'm 12 weeks today! So far, so good. No cramping, no bleeding; I'm hopeful the baby is doing well. We should hear a heartbeat this next week, and hopefully we'll do an ultrasound soon (and know if we've got more than one!). I've been feeling strange this pregnancy --it's different than all the others. I'm exhausted beyond belief, I'm bigger (I've been in maternity clothes since 5 weeks), and yet sometimes I wonder if I'm still pregnant. I think those feelings are normal during the first trimester, though. I'll be happy when the baby moves around and I can feel the sense of relief that accompanies each movement.
---------------------------------
We didn't camp this year. I'm really sad about it! We've done a little hiking, but not much. I'm seriously considering planning a family hike just so we can get outdoors. We haven't gone, of course, because of Brandon's schedule and my exhaustion, and it just feels wrong, you know? Summer should be spent outdoors living in tents, smelling pine and smoke, hiking, swimming, being away from the world, watching the stars each night. I've really missed it a lot this year. Luckily the boys get to go to Fathers and Sons with their dad tonight. I'm glad they get to go!

PERSONAL QUESTION FOR WOMEN:
Did any of you have consistent and persistent yeast infections while you were pregnant? If so, what did you do to get rid of them safely? Any help would be much appreciated. Sorry if it's TMI!

Okay I deleted my last comment because I said something that came across wrong. Anyway about yeast infections, yes I had them and the best way I found to prevent them (or at least make them less severe and frequent) was to take probiotics and as much as I could possibly take without it being detrimental to my body. They are WAYYY more effective than yogurt!
