February the 12th felt like May 12th, and so we took advantage of it.
I put #5 on my back in my Beco, I put #4 in the stroller (the travel system one; it's old), and the older three walked. We walked 1.5 miles to a park in Orem and on the way we stopped to take some photos in an orchard and feed some llamas. The park was crowded, the ducks were loud, the kids were laughing, the sun was shining, and my children got along --for the most part.
Walking back took longer. Always does. We got home just as the sun was beginning to set, and so the temperature started dropping pretty quickly. But the sunset shining on the snow-covered mountains always does something to me. I love my mountains.
I'm grateful that today felt like Spring. I know it will be short-lived, but the few hours we were out in the sunshine and cool air was beyond invigorating. It was exactly what I needed, and although today was spent watching TV, taking naps, playing with cousin Mia, going to the park, and NOT doing chores, I still feel it was a day well spent.
Why scurry about looking for the truth? It vibrates in every thing and every not-thing, right off the tip of your nose. Can you be still and see it in the mountain air? the pine tree? yourself?

We were loving the break in weather today, too. There's just something exhilarating about riding a bike outside before Valentine's Day.
I can almost feel the sun in those pictures!
Wow, what a beautiful sunny day tou had. So glad you took advantage of it!
