Go For It!

I read a post yesterday that I believe will forever have changed my life. And Brandon's. And our little family's. A turning point, if you will. Honestly? It's nothing earth-shattering. Most people would/will read it and think "Huh. Good post." For me, however, it had me overwhelmed. It was like a light bulb went off and every emotion inside my cramped little brain was released.

What? What's that? You want to know what post it was?

Ironically (well, not really), Megan is the one who took our family photographs (see many of them on the sidebar). You can tell how incredible she is just by perusing through her blog!

God gives us answers in all kinds of places, dear reader. Even blog posts.

P.S. This does NOT mean we will be purchasing a farm. Re-read her last paragraph. That's when the light bulb went off and the waterworks started!

Thanks for sharing that blog Cheryl. It was very insightful. So now I'm wondering, what is your dream that you are waiting/going for? :)

Man that was a good post! Really makes me want to sell and live rurally and get out of the rat race! But I think the message I got from it is to not put happiness and the life we want on hold, but to go for it NOW!

That was a lovely post. Thanks for sharing. I think you should purchase a farm---in rural western Washington. :)

Awesome. It's interesting how, in truth, doing what we know we should will end up likely being lonely in some ways because it will be unique for us and our situation. For all that there are true, general principles out there that we might all agree on, our personal missions are still very personal.

One of the world's most amazing optimists (at least in my view) talked of the road of faith being a lonely road. I think about that a lot, and it helps me when it does in fact feel lonely.
