It's Friday. Just In Case You Didn't Know.

Hey, hey! New blog design! Fun stuff, eh?
------------------------

Found a bird in my garden this morning. Not sure how he got through the chicken wire, but I did some repairs, and the garden looks okay. It's growing! It is sooooooo exciting to see the plants coming up, which currently include:
*Onions
*Carrots
*Peppers
*Tomatoes
*Zucchini
*Bush beans
*Strawberries (not expecting them to ripen until fall)
*Lettuce

Still waiting on the pumpkins and the cucumbers. Oh, and another pepper. I really should show you pictures! Next time. Next time.
--------------------------

I spent three blissful hours in the Temple on Tuesday morning. I never realized how many people cried alone in the Celestial Room. But I was one of 'em, and it's okay. Praying in the Temple has got to be the best place to pray! It was quiet. It was peaceful. It was holy. The hardest part was trying to focus my thoughts. It's hard to do when I'm used to being interrupted five gazillion times a day. Maybe six gazillion. Anyway, it was blissful (as I said), and I highly suggest you do the same thing.
----------------------------

I'm alone again. Whine, whine.
-------------------------

Have I ever told you, dear reader, how much I adore my book club? No? Yes? Well, it's awesome. Last month we read Look Again by Lisa Scottoline. This month we're reading The Help by Kathryn Stockett. Are you in a book club? What are you reading?
--------------------------------

After months and months of hemming and hawing, I finally bought this (except mine was way cheaper). Shhh! Don't tell Brandon. I haven't told him, yet. (Hi, honey!)
--------------------------------

Cute #5. Just because.

The change is cool. I was going to ask how you did it- but I don't even want to try- so nevermind. :) But it's fun.
Is your whole garden covered in chicken wire?

Amber! No! It's the easiest thing in the world! Blogger just came up with this new template thing and you just choose the one you like and the colors you like...it really is super simple. Or, you could come visit me and I'll just show you how. :)

Rozla-
You are right! He looks a ton like #1. :)

Mother-
Thank you!

Cheryl! Love the new look on the blog. Very cool. It's probably time to give my blog a face lift too. Your posts are always so great.

We just did an episode of "Everything Creative" on Mormon Mommy Bloggers. It will be out soon on radio.lds.org. I thought of you when we were doing it.

Anyway...thought I'd say hello!

Hey Cheryl! I like your new design too. I just read Look Again 2 days ago. It was so interesting. I also read The Help not to long ago. I loved it too! I can't get a book club going here, not enough readers. It's sad for me. This week I also read Triumph (the second book by Carolyn Jessop, her first is Escape), A Thousand Splendid Suns, and Still Alice. I love a good book!
