I'm a Sucker for a Flower and Pick One!

Okay, dear reader, since I have so much time on my hands (please read my previous post if you don't understand why those words are dripping with sarcasm), I thought I would show you some of Waterton, since I haven't been able to finish giving you my wondrous and glorious account of my three days frolicking in such nature-filled bliss. Curses to the auto-save feature on Blogger!
Anyway....
Waterton was awash in color this year. This was due, I'm sure, to all the record-breaking snow and rain most of the Rocky Mountains received this past winter. The fields were riddled with wildflowers, and it was seriously breathtaking and quite a shock. I'm not used to seeing so many flowers in July! I tried to take as many pictures as I could, but I'm really not that great of a photographer, and so it's hard to tell that the meadows were covered with flowers. Like this:

I stopped at this meadow to take some very quick pictures, none of which turned out well --too much shadow. That's what I get for photographing in haste!

I took a lot of "green" pictures, too. I like leaves and needles, and here are a few of my best:

Here are some flowers that were along some of the trails we hiked:
One: Two:
Three: Four:
Now, here's your job! I want to choose one of these for a future header on my blog. Which one is your favorite? (I'm thinking about the flowers, btw, but if the "green" ones tickle your fancy, let me know.) To make it easier, just give me the number by the picture.

I don't know if I like any better that the bright yellow flowers you have now. I do like number 2.

I really love the green needles picture. It is so pretty and even though I know what needles feel like, they look almost soft and fluffy in the picture. I love it. :) I also love the leaf pictures - I guess I am just drawn to greenery. You can almost feel how smooth the leaves are just looking at them.

yeah, i don't like any of them more than the yellow ones you have now. i TOTALLY dig the picture with the leaves, though. the needles are pretty, too, but the picture that is second overall is awesome.

That's because it makes you think of Hawaii, right? It makes me think of Hawaii. :)

I like the green leaf shot best. To me, it captures the intricacy of creation. :-)

I agree that your yellow flowers already on your header are my personal favorite. I like the green leaves. They are gorgeous, almost edible yet smooth and interesting, even ribbon like.

Really liking the leaves :)

I like the leaves too! The needles might be good for a winter theme, though.

Nice pics! I have no suggestions. Throw something up there and see how you like it. Or rotate through them week by week for variety. Or stick with the yellow ones and forget the whole thing. I like Susan's idea of the needles for winter, though.

I like the broad green leaves the best. If you really want a flower, then #3. Have fun!
