Break

I had an entire post ready to give you. There was about 50 pictures and 5 videos. Then I made a stupid mistake and with one stroke of the keyboard, it erased more than 3/4 of it. The problem was, I didn't realize it until after the autosave kicked in, so there's no salvaging it. I had been working on this post for three days, and now I have to start over.

I need a break.

I'll see you in a few days --or maybe after Youth Conference (it's this coming weekend).

I feel that way every time I have to catch-up.

I'll be missing you.

Frustrating!
You know what I hate? When I somehow manage to publish my post before I meant to. (I don't know how but I've done this twice. Some keystroke that I did or something...) I hate it because even though I can go back and edit it and finish it, the post usually goes out to all the feeds and so people get to read my unfinished, not spell checked or edited post. Frustrating.

This happened to me once or twice. If you go into the customize menu and click on posts, there is a tab of Posting, then a tab for "edit posts" (It defaults to create)... From there you can edit - your hopefully auto-saved remains.... Then you can click on edit and finish your post. Let me know if it works!!!!

Brooke-
Yeah, but it doesn't matter if the autosaved already autosaved the mistake. There's no going back and retreiving deleted data. I have the 1/4 that I didn't accidentally delete, but it doesn't matter if the first 3/4 are completely gone.
Thank you for trying to help, though. I really do appreciate it.

Looking forward to the post when you get a chance. I've enjoyed reliving the trip. How fun!!!!

Sorry... NOW I understand why the autosave is a curse. For some reason, I thought you had just closed your browser or something - in which case, my solution would work to retrieve it... but I get it... I'm good now... and now you have pictures posted!
