VOTE TODAY!

I'll be honest. This is the first time I have been praying that someone will win the Presidency of our country. I've been doing research for the last 2 years and I feel like I know both candidates pretty well. Hands down, I believe Mitt Romney is the better candidate.

But despite my political leanings, or if you disagree with me --go vote. Exercise your right to have your voice be heard.

(I voted this morning!)

I've heard of some people refusing to vote out of protest during this election. How sad is that? For the women who fought to be heard, for the military who have sacrificed their lives to give us that freedom --for the men and women who created our country out of nothing but conviction and faith --what a cop-out. What a waste and what selfishness.

"Nobody will ever deprive the American people of the right to vote except the American people themselves and the only way they could do this is by not voting." ~FDR

Go vote! Be heard! Honor those who came before you and who stood their ground so you could have a say in who leads in your cities, counties, states, and our amazing country.

I get frustrated sometimes with people who don't bother to vote, but on the other hand, if they haven't educated themselves enough about the issues or just don't care enough one way or the other, I really don't want them to vote. Of course, I do wish people would educate themselves and also care. Especially if they become Republicans. (I'm just kidding.) (Okay, not really.)
