Inconveniences. Not Problems.

Whoever said raising six children is easy was a lunatic.

What? You mean nobody has ever said that? Huh. That makes more sense now.

-------------------

Baby boy has a cough that makes me nervous, but I'm not too concerned. It's rattly and coughy, but there's no fever, he's eating/pooping just fine, and sleeps well, too. And now #5 has an earache. Which stinks, timing wise, because I can't take him to the doctor. He was accidentally left off of our insurance plan when we signed up everyone three months ago. Seriously, it's insane. And we're trying to add me from COBRA (because I had a pre-existing condition (pregnancy) and couldn't be added three months ago) and it's taking FOREVER simply because I have asthma and Depression.

Yep! Pop a few pills each day in order to stay out of a hospital and psychiatric ward and insurance companies go berserk.

I am now tracking down three sets of medical records to send to them.

And because of that mess, I still have to do COBRA this month --but guess who cannot print off the necessary forms because the computer is not working right? Yep, that would be me. No printer. Luckily, I have friends. These friends have printers. And computers that work.

Did you know, dear reader, that if you need to change your child's SS card because they spelled his name wrong on it, you need to have his birth certificate in hand at the SS office? Even if he's a few weeks old and you don't have the birth certificate, yet? Even though chances are really high the birth certificate is wrong, too? Yep. I have to go back when I get the birth certificate. Which could be wrong. I'll find out in a few days. That was FUN! I felt like such a fool, kids in tow...

There's about half a dozen other things I have to get done before Friday, but I won't bore you with the details. Just know that running around town, making long phone calls (where I'm on hold for what seems like hours), and still taking care of three little boys at the same time is NOT easy.

Oh, shoot! Forgot --soccer games start today. Joy, joy, joy! And I was wanting to move the older two boys into their new room (which is finally ready, hooray!) downstairs today. How will that happen? I'm not sure. Motivation and energy. I'll try to get some before evening.

Please tell me your Tuesday has been better than mine. Please?

For me to remember:
If you break your neck, if you have nothing to eat, if your house is on fire, then you got a problem. Everything else is inconvenience.

Ooh, my Tuesday was super fun. (Sarcasm) I got to meet with a new psychiatrist because during my newest bout of depression, I found out that my former has stopped practicing/closed up shop. So last week I saw a kinesiologist, this week I saw my therapist, and today my new psychiatrist prescribed me two new medications. It's been way too much talking and crying. But I have hope that I'm on the path toward healthy.

And you, Cheryl, are the only person I though would understand all this.

I know you don't agree with CJane about a lot of things, but I think you would love her post today!
