Why, howdy! It's been a few days since I've written anything. I was sick. Blah. But it's okay, because Brandon was around (his new job means way fewer hours) and he was amazing. Don't tell anyone, but I think he likes me! ;)

And now he's sick. But I've decided it's got to be easier being the sick hubby rather than the sick wife. Because even though he helped out so much while I was recovering, I still had to watch all the kids all day long while he was at work. I didn't get to sleep all day --he kind of does. You know? But I guess that's good. He'll recover quicker.
Current worries:

*#5's inability to pronounce basic words. I think he has a consonant problem. Of course, he's only 2 yrs and 3 months --so I'm not panicking, yet, but still... it's a little nag in the back of my mind... plus he screams all the time because he won't talk. Speech therapy may very well be in his future. *shrug

*#3. Everything about him. Pretty much.

I think that's it. I'm sure there's more, but I'm kind of liking my pregnancy brain right now --I forget to worry about stuff. It's nice.

Speaking of pregnancy, I have no idea what to name this child. Our other three boys have Bible names (Mark, James, Nathan --not in that order) and family names as middle names (Moroni, Wade, Henry --again, not in that order, or even in the same order as the first names I just typed, etc. etc. whatever). So, I'm kind of thinking a Bible name of some kind (Old or New Testament) would be nice for this little guy coming our way. I can figure out the middle name easily (family names are fun!), but Brandon and I are both having a heck of time coming up with something. Okay --I'M having a heck of a time. Brandon just vetoes the names he hates.

So, dear reader, could you help out? Give me some good Boy Bible names that I could mull over. I would be most obliged.

I love Church. I love going every week. I don't necessarily learn something awesome/new every time, but I sure am reminded of awesome stuff. Plus, the Holy Ghost is always there. Always.

We're changing ward boundaries within our stake next week --we just found out yesterday. However, our ward is lucky --we are only gaining people, not losing any. Kind of fun, eh?

I had the weirdest dream last night:

I was at church and I had been asked to play the piano for a musical number. Except I forgot the music. I walked up to the piano and figured I would remember a piece I did a long time ago, no problem, but not even halfway through, I forgot it, so I paused to look through the bench at the Church for my music. Boy, was that bench messy! But I couldn't find my music, and the Bishop was saying something about having to wait for me, and the crowd was getting restless (and starting to boo) and my family was there --and Brandon finally went home and got my music and brought it back and threw it at me. I started over and got to play it, but half way through, the crowd was still restless (see how I call the congregation a 'crowd'? That's because they weren't very reverent) and then Brandon stood up, walked near to where the piano was, and yelled at me: "Next time, I'm going to invite my sister to spend the week with us and you can't have anything to do with her!" And when I woke up, I couldn't figure out why Brandon was such a jerk. Until I realized it was a dream.

Have any weird dreams lately?

On my list:
*Buy pumpkins
*Carve pumpkins
*Finish Halloween costumes (no, I don't sew. I'm talking about making sure we have all the parts. That's about it).
*Figure out what to pass out for Halloween. Because I hate candy. Any ideas?

If you want an unusual name I would go with Habakkuk. Not so unusual? Um... maybe Daniel or Zechariah (you can call him Zech).

Come to my house for little toys. That's what we give every year.

My dream last nite included my stake presidency member wanting to talk to me. I thought it would be a calling, but he called me to repentance for being a bad wife. ????

How about Noah? Or Ammon? Of the non-bible variety, I really like Easton and Tyson.

I hear ya on the worrying. Kids are always giving us something to worry about.

We don't have pumpkins yet either. I'm glad that we're not the only ones! I'm hoping to find the last costume we need today...

Good luck with the non-candy. I did see Pirates Booty and goldfish and popcorn in the trick-or-treat aisle at Target yesterday. There's always play-doh, pencils or erasers.

Halloween Pencils: you can get 10 for about a dollar at target. Then your kids can use any left over ones at school.

We really like Benjamin. It means "son of my right hand". Think Jacob's last son from Rebecca. Fair warning, though. We are probably going to use it next month, but it won't bother me if we have boys with matchy-matchy names.

Love the name Luke so much..wanted to use it! Andrew is my baby's name and LOVE IT, Paul is a good one. Samuel is one of my faves!

I didn't have to put "buy pumpkins" on my list this year because we had a bumper crop in our back yard--and they were mostly volunteers! It was fun. The grandkids from CA and UT got to pick out their own. Cool. Too bad you don't live closer or you could have picked some out, too!

Jonathan. For a boy. Friend with a capital F.

Oh and I forgot...I LOVE the name Eli. A good strong Bible name, but not very common!

Just kidding!
How about David or Jonathan. Adam's a really good one, too.
