And Baby Number Six is...

...a baby! A human being! Huzzah!

Oh, you meant the gender?

Boy!

Four boys. Two girls and four boys. Isn't that awesome? Nuts? So fun?

#2 at the ultrasound to the awesome tech: "make it a girl, ok?" That girl cracks me up.

Both of my girls were pretty bummed. I wasn't surprised. But they'll be okay -- I'm grateful they have each other!

I had a dozen girl names ready. Figures, eh?

Oh, and baby looks great! Everything is there and working properly, so that's a relief. I'm thrilled to call the baby a "him" now, though. It creates this closer bond for me, you know?

Six kids. Man, where did the time go??

Congrats Cheryl! So exciting! I always dreamed of having a house full of boys, now I'm not so sure if I have the energy. Good luck!

Four boys rocks! It will be fun and crazy to have them all bunched together! I was SHOCKED when my #5 was a boy, I thought for sure it was a girl, had a name picked out and everything. I have to admit I was a little sad at the time, but now I wouldn't change the adorable boy I have!

Woo-Hoo! Four boys!

PS-(inside joke between me & Cheryl) At least he won't be called a Heathen. ;)

There are WONDERFUL things about having all the kids of one gender first, and then the other gender. Like only storing one set of clothes, and they can share toys a lot easier, since your boys are in the same toy stages at the same time (not that boys never play with a doll and girls can't play with trucks :)).

I'm glad to hear he looks good and healthy!!!

Congrats!

My husband has three younger sisters, and when his youngest younger sister was born he cried because it was a girl. He was about nine. When he was 14 he got his first baby brother, and then another one, and then another one, so he has three little brothers and one is young enough to be his son. Anyway, he got over it, and now he loves his youngest sister a LOT. Ha ha. but he cried when she was born.
