Crazy Dreams. That's About It.

My dream last night:
I went to see a good friend star in a play, and although he lives in Boise, we were in the former Civic Auditorium in Blackfoot, ID. I was in the audience with about 5 of my fellow 1997 graduates, and all of them were named Jeff. I think. And then suddenly, I was in the play with my friend. They handed me the script and told me to memorize it on the spot. But then it got weirder because my friend pulled me behind the curtain and started kissing me. This was weird because I remembered still being married to Brandon, but more importantly, my friend is gay. This must have caused me some consternation because in the next instant, I was in Admiral Adama's quarters on the Battlestar Galactica. However, Admiral Adama was not Admiral Adama, he was my FIL, and we were chatting about cylons and politics while eating stew (which, incidentally, was dinner last night).
And then I woke up to pee.

I have so much to do before Friday. The worst on the list is this morning --registering our California vehicle in Utah (finally!). Who wants to stand in line at the DMV with #4 and me? Anyone? Anyone?
*crickets chirping
Sigh.
--------------------------
Not much else to talk about. We didn't do anything worth mentioning over the weekend --lots of chores and then laziness. But it was nice to go to Church together (all 6 of us) for the first time in 2 months! It's amazing the things you miss...
Farewell for now. Don't forget to enter my Super-Duper 30th Birthday Give-a-way! It'll still be open until tomorrow night...

So, dear reader, have you had any interesting dreams before? Anything fun going on in your life right now?

The is a seriously funky dream.

I know I had weird dreams last night because I woke up between them just enough to go, "That was weird." But I don't remember them.

I dreamt last night that I was dating Benjamin Franklin and there was all the hustle and bustle of the Revolution about us and what not and he told me, "you're not a very good lover." And (shocked as I was) I retorted that he'd had a lot more experience than me.

No joke. That was last night. Weird.

Don't worry about kissing your gay friend in your dream. I once dreamt that Randy kissed my gay friend in a dream...really bad visual.

Um.... I have a had a plethora of weird dreams as of late. I dreamed that my supervisor snuck into my office while I was gone last week and changed my computer out for a Mac. I can't even remember the last time I had to use a Mac.

Then a few nights before, my husband and I were having a conversation with his sister about kissing this boy that she thinks is pretty hot... then I dreamed that I kissed one of my grad students.

Note to self: No more eating so close to bedtime...

pregnancy dreams are always the weirdest! i've had some that i, uh, didn't feel comfortable sharing with my husband, eeps! but i'd rather have those ones than the other kind i usually have... ever since having kids, i have disturbing dreams that people break into the house or that something happens to my kids. my dad says my mom's always had the same sort of "messed up" (his words) dreams about me and my sister. it's totally weird and i wish i could do something to control it.

Last night I dreamed I was The Bachelor. Like I was myself trapped inside his body. Weird.

Hey! I dreamed I was in a play last night too. I had a scene with a guy and neither of us knew our lines at all.
Maybe it is a pregnancy thing? Dreaming about being in a play.

I had a dream last night that my baby girl had the stomach flu terribly and we went out of town and I didn't bring any changes of anything..clothes, diapers etc. And then I woke up with my baby girl sleeping on me and her having thrown up again (#5 out of 6), and her not having any more clean pajamas. It was more of a real life nightmare come true!

I would totally come stand in line with you and #4 at the DMV (and I really need to get my car registered too) but I'd have to bring all four of my kids so I think you'd (we'd) be worse off.

At first I read, "And then I woke up IN pee" and I thought, ew. And then I saw the TO, and I thought, whew.

I have lots of weird dreams all the time, but none that I can remember right now. Good luck getting all your stuff done by Friday. BTW, I blogged about your give-away. :)

"And then I woke up to pee" Bwahahahaha!!!!

I have kissed that friend in a play...I think. I can't remember if we kissed or not, but we were love interests in a play. I love that guy.

I once had a dream my dad was having an affair. Not weird -- very frustrating. Very realistic (the dream, not my dad having an affair). Very very not cool.

I also have dreams (not as often now) where people I love gather together just to announce that they really don't like me and felt like I needed to know that. When Stanton and I first got married, I had those dreams all the time and I would wake up bawling. Weird.

Julie, that's so sad---like a "we hate you" intervention. Terrible. Also, you know it would never actually happen. Because of all the awesomeness.

Also, Cheryl is awesome. I thought I should throw that in, what with it being her blog and all.

I love a good crazy dream. I pretend to psycho-analyze them and have convinced myself that I am the best interpreter of my own dreams.

I also have this amazing power to tell myself subconsciously "WAKE UP, it's a dream." And I can, unless I'm dreaming that my husband hates me and is leaving me for another woman or another man. It happens far more often than I tell him.

Last night I dreamed someone stole money out of my purse, I couldn't remember how much had been in there in the first place. I was struck that they chose to leave me 3 crispy $5 bills.

I had a dream where I kissed a gay friend, my reasoning: I thought that if I'd showed interest in him when he'd had a crush on me, things would've been different for him.
