Get your kid a journal!

Okay, so I have this amazing aunt. Well, she's actually Brandon's aunt, but I consider her my aunt because, well, that just makes sense. She has no choice, really, since I am undeterred in my continual reference to her as my "aunt". Anyway, most of you know her. She is talented, kind, talented, outspoken (just like me!), talented, and brilliant (too many examples to provide you a link). Oh, and did I mention she was talented?

She has recently embarked on a new venture. One that will benefit ALL of us, I am sure. It's a journal for children. Do any of you remember, years ago, those "All About Me" journals you could buy at Deseret Book and such? This is very similar, since those books have seemed to become something of the past. It's a yearly journal where your kids can draw pictures, scrapbook a few pictures, write about their favorite things, the holidays throughout the year, etc. What's great is that not only does it start out as a way for our kids to start journaling, but it can kind of double as a scrapbook of their childhood. I've seen a working copy, and I'm excited that they are finally for sale!

So, if you're interested, go check it out. I guarantee you'll like it!

P.S. This was a non-paid advertisement. No animals were harmed in the writing of this post, although several children were ignored, while their mother went on and on about something that is actually for them and even when the whining started and the fighting continued, said mother pressed forward to finish the post because she felt it was of great worth.

Thanks cheryl for helping me spread the word! And thanks siobhan for being my very first customer! I know you and the children (don't know if they are for you or not) are going to love the book. It's so much better than the "working copy" cheryl saw a few months back. And I hope it'll be around (and even better and perhaps cheaper) in ten years!
