Week 3 results:

Me: 6.2 (total)
DH: 13.4 (total)

I love that I'm continuing to lose, despite the crazy weekend of delicious food! (Where DH and I decided to just stop counting points because it was becoming, well....pointless. Get it! HAHAHA! Yeah, anyway...)

DH rocks at this; I'm trying to stay positive and supportive, even though sometimes I want to punch him for being so good at it. Grrr....

Seriously, you are so brave to do this with your husband. I don't think I could do it. Congrats on the 6+ lbs!! Don't get discouraged. That's awesome especially over a family holiday. :)

it's the obsessive personality. it helps with eating a lot but it also helps with dieting. especially when there are numbers involved.

Cheryl, you're doing awesome! 2 pounds a week is REALLY good and you're being really consistent. I can't believe you guys lost weight over the weekend. I put all the weight I lost while I was sick back on!

Thanks, guys! I was floored that I hadn't gained any weight; I would have been happy with remaining the same.

To be honest, even though we stopped counting points and ate more than we should have, I was still being careful and overeating. And that 10 mile walk alone gave me like 12 extra points! :)

I never thought of that. It makes perfect sense...

What's funny is that if I didn't do it with him, I don't think I'd be as successful --I'm terrible at self-motivation. But he's there helping me through it all, reminding me to stay on track, asking me how I'm doing each day, etc.
