Yeah, me neither.
Needless to say, I'm home, the trip rocked (and had some interesting twists and turns) and I came home (after traveling for about...oh...20 hours) to a dead battery on the van, dead bird blood on our carpet (thanks to the cat! Thanks, cat!), loads of paperwork, a newsletter to be created and edited in less than 2 days, immediate children stuff (but boy-howdy, did I miss them!), dirty floors, a stinky fridge (why didn't I clean it out after our Christmas vacation?!), and a full calendar for the week [dr. appointments, pre-school, piano lessons, carpool (although if there's no working batter on the van...?), that darn newsletter, and...anything else? Who knows at this point!].
Makes one want to stay on the airplane for a leeeeetle bit longer, eh? Oh, well. I'd have to come home and face all this crap sooner or later. Why not tomorrow? That's right! Tomorrow! I can sleep now! Yes! I only got 3 hours of sleep today, and since I'm still on London time, that means it feels like...5:20AM to me! No wonder I'm so loopy...
I promise to give you juicy London details later. I do! I just need to stabilize my life a little bit (so...I'll do it Thursday? Wednesday? Whenever I get that newsletter turned in?).
