Stuffy, Stuff, Stuff

Blast the Superbowl for going 10 minutes late and making my TiVo miss the last 10 minutes of The Office Sunday night. Blast!
Thank goodness for Hulu! (And kudos to Bythelbs for telling me about it.)

Brandon came home. Yes, London did have record snow over the weekend (well, Sunday to Monday), and I appreciate your concerns! For 2 1/2 hours, Brandon sat on a grounded plane at Heathrow while they de-iced the wings. But --of course --they finally took off.
And he's here.
Hooray!
I'm trying to forget that he's leaving for London again on Sunday afternoon...

This crazy month is full of birthdays and events:
*#4 will turn two years old on Sunday
*#2 will turn six years old next Wednesday
*Valentine's Day rocks. I love it, because I always make it a day about love for my kids and not just romantic love. Hmmm...what to get them this year...
*I will be turning THIRTY at the end of the month. And unlike most women, I'm thrilled to be turning thirty! Boo-yah!
-------------------------------------------
I have a dear friend who is having marital problems. She's had marital problems for a really long time, and it's finally coming to a point where it's probably not salvageable. I know I can't divulge more than that, but could you all keep her in your prayers? Heavenly Father will know who you are talking about, so the anonymity will be okay. I promise. And if she's reading this, I hope she knows she's loved!

Please notice my poll on the side-bar. See it? Good! Now take it. And tell me why you voted like you did. If you want.

Peace out.

  1. How can you live without AI recaps?? Do what you must, but I'm all for 'em.

Sorry Brandon has to go back -- there's a gal in my ward who's husband has been gone on business since the beginning of January and won't be home until the middle of March. I feel for you gals who have to single mom it for so long! Bless you.

    Prayers to your friend.

  2. Hooray for Brandon being home! Sorry he has to go again...maybe he'll bring you something good home. :)

Now, about the poll. I really don't hate puppies. But I'm not a fan of AI. And I can live with out the reviews.

  3. Yay for Brandon!!!!

I wanted to vote but, well, I don't really care. And I don't hate American Idol, although I do hate puppies.

  4. I have #3 turning 5 on next Thurs. We will be traveling though for a wedding. I might throw a little party. But who knows... I am sad for your friend. I will remember her. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the office! Makes me laugh just remembering it. I watched the American Idol in Utah kind of fun. We do watch it but I have boycotted a few years when the person I liked got voted off. But your reviews would be fun to read.

  5. I'd be thrilled to be turning 30 too, because, um, I'm hovering in the 40's right now.

  6. I'm an AI junkee. Don't think I knew you yet for last year's analysis. I'd love to follow yours this year! (Cause, as you know, I'm no unopinionated. Hahaaa!)

  7. I'm not a huge AI fan, I watch it some seasons, but most I don't. I did however love your commentary last year so I say go for it!

As for turning 30, it was no big deal...now that I'm 35 I'm not as happy about my age. It's really not so much my age, just I thought I'd be at a different place in my life by now, so that's depressing. Yay for being 30!

I'm really sorry to hear about your friend...marital problems are so heartbreaking...especially when they can't be worked out. I will be praying for her.

  9. Hooray for Hulu! Hooray for turning 30! And I hate puppies, just because I'm feeling disagreeable today and your blog needs more controversy. :)

BTW, The Office on Sunday was one of the funniest I've seen in a LONG time. And that's sayin' something.

  12. Oh yes, thank heaven's for hulu! The Office was awesome. I've been wondering about doing the AI recaps too on my blog. I have to decide what I want to do. There's too many shows on Tuesday that I like now and we don't have a DVR so I don't know what to do! LOL

    Prayers to your friend.
