The shuttle guy picked me up at 3:27AM. He had me to the airport so early, that the kiosk's for check-in at the airline counter weren't even open, yet! I had to sit for 45 minutes --good thing I brought a novel (or four).
I slept the entire way to Houston, TX; there my former roomie and good friend, Laura, picked me up. I had a 5 hour layover, so we went to lunch. Thank you, Laura! It was so good to see you!
The flight to London wasn't too bad! They actually had great food service and I got about 3 hours of sleep. This would prove to be imperative because when I landed in London it felt like midnight to me, but was actually 7AM the next day.
And there I will stop. Because my computer time is limited and I've got to go get ready for the day --I'm going to Westminster Abbey today! Yesterday was the Tower of London, and Tuesday was...well, I'll tell you about it later...
I'm so happy for you!!! Have tons of fun! We will have lunch when you get back.
