I Drank A Green Smoothie Today

I'm not going to pretend my brain remembers anything anymore. I'm lost in a wilderness of grogginess I will forever refer to as (if I remember) raising my kiddos. I go back and read posts I've written years ago and I think, "who is this person?!" I don't remember anything.

My mother-in-law mentioned to me that she had forgotten about newborns --what their cries mean. I told her not to worry about it, because I only remember what it is I have to remember at the particular stage in which I find myself in. For example, do I remember potty training? Nope. But I'm going to soon, because #5 turns 3 next week. Do I remember crawling, solid-food eating babies? Nope. I don't have one right now. All I can focus on right now is what I have to focus on right now. In this moment.

In other news:

*I weigh in for the first time since re-joining weight watchers tomorrow morning. I'm leary because of the family vacation. But I'm still going.

*I downloaded the Couch to 5K app on my phone. With that, plus my bodyfate app, plus the new/old jogging stroller, plus my new bike, plus the inspiring examples of Brandon's female family members, plus my new determination, I'm pretty confident I will be a runner again. A fit one.

*This morning I had to deal with a bloody nose (#4's), cat throw-up, #5's throw-up, and #6's leaky diaper. Great start to an already laundry filled day.

*I'm an awesome wife. I'm letting my hubby go watch the Pre-Premiere of The Dark Knight tonight without me, all because I didn't like taking the infant to The Avengers. He wants me to go-- I just don't see it working. So, I'm letting him go without me. Yes, I rock.

*I'm itching to go camping again. Next month. Somewhere local-ish.

*I bought some jeans that fit me perfectly. Long and lean from The Gap. Size 18. Yep! 18. But I figured this: If I want to be healthy again (which, for me, is a size 12), then I need to be real about where I'm at right now. I need to feel good about myself RIGHT. NOW. So, I bought the jeans. I'm excited for the day when they will fall off of me completely.

*My new nephew is gorgeous, gorgeous. He makes the 10th grandson (for my parents) and the 14th grandchild. Where did the time go?

*Veggies and fruits are free with WW, you know. So I made a green smoothie. Green smoothies (if "naked" --meaning no flax or chia or avocado or honey or whatever) are zero points!

THIS. I love this. And this is truth for all of us. I'm working on THIS.

I have the app too. I'm on week one. Still. Hoping to finish week 1 in the morning though.

Are fruits and veggies still free when you blend them? In my mind, yes because basically you are just pre-chewing it, but I've heard mixed thoughts on this so I am curious. I just asked my mom last week actually.

Amanda, that is a very good question. I'm not sure about the points --I might need to ask my WW person.
