March 2nd was the magical day!

Baby Boy #6 arrived this afternoon at 5:32pm.

9lbs 11oz

22 inches

8 days "overdue."

Lots of dark hair; I think he looks like #4 did at birth!

Contractions began at 1PM. Didn't get strong until after 3pm. "Pushed" for approximately 16 minutes.

Nurses like a pro.

    Oh hooooooraaayyy!!! Now I can have mine! I'm so glad it went well! I've been having contractions since about 4 this afternoon every 15 -20 min., but then they decide to stop -- like at dinner time and right now, haven't had any since 9:09. I'm going to bed so I can be rested if this picks up tonight. Can't wait to hear more details and see the pictures. I AM SO GLAD FOR YOU. 8 days is a long time!!!!

    I love it!! I have been waiting anxiously! I think I convinced hubby to let me have a home birth with our next kid (we aren't pregnant, nor are we trying currently - but soon, hopefully). You have been such an inspiration!
